Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Cleanroom & Production Technician to join our Operations team. This role involves the assembly, testing, cleaning, and packaging of sterile active implantable medical devices in a regulated cleanroom environment.
You will play a key part in ensuring high-quality, high-precision products are delivered to the required standards while working closely with both the production and R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities-
Assemble complex electro-mechanical devices under a microscope within a cleanroom environment.

Handle and operate assembly equipment and tools safely and effectively.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Complete batch and production records accurately and diligently.

Perform in-process inspections and support independent verification and testing activities.

Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure clean, safe working conditions.

Collaborate with R&D and support product/process development as required.

Take responsibility for personal health and safety and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Essential:
-
Good secondary education or equivalent.
-
Strong manual dexterity and practical skills.

Excellent soldering skills, including fine wire rework and PCB assembly (SMD, PTH).

Proven experience in high-precision electro-mechanical assembly.

Familiarity with test and inspection equipment.
Desirable:

Formal qualification such as HNC, HND, or Level 3 NVQ in a relevant discipline.

Experience working within cleanroom environments and under microscopes.

Knowledge of quality standards for medical devices or regulated industries.

High attention to detail and strong visual inspection skills.

Comfortable working in a regulated, quality-driven environment.

Self-organised with the ability to manage own workload.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
