Responsibilities As a Loading Shovel Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Operating a loading shovel to pick up crushed materials and transport them to the designated stockpile.
- Ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials in compliance with site regulations and safety standards.
- Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the loading shovel to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with site personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

- Possession of a valid CPCS or NPORS card.

- If holding an NPORS card, it must include CSCS Accreditation and Loading Shovel Operator certification.

- Proven experience operating a loading shovel in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve:

- Starting with a safety briefing and equipment inspection.
- Operating the loading shovel to move crushed materials efficiently and safely.
- Coordinating with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on the equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
- Wrapping up the day by ensuring the work area and equipment are clean and secure.
