Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a School Administration Coordinator to join the School of Biological Sciences administrative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting core activities within the school including teaching administration. The postholder will be part of a team who are responsible for assisting the Senior School Administrator, School Administration Manager, Director of Education and Head of School in the effective and efficient running of these areas within the school.

The work is varied and interesting and will involve a great deal of contact with the student body, staff, and external organisations. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual; you will be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team within a busy but friendly environment. You should have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. You should also have experience in an administrative role, with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, experience of working within the Higher Education sector would be advantageous.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 4 Salary Scale £26,942- £30,805 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
