Responsibilities
Design and implement data architecture solutions that align with business objectives and optimize data utilization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain data security and compliance.
Conduct data modeling and manage data warehousing, including designing schemas and optimizing queries for performance.
Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to improve data architecture and analytics capabilities.
Lead data migration projects and ensure smooth transitions to new systems or platforms.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers and analysts on best practices in data architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data management roles.
Strong expertise in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques to effectively present data insights.
Good understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices for data security.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
