Summary

Our client, a leading provider in the construction and installation sector, is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join their team. This is a home-based position with regular travel across the North and Central UK, overseeing projects from planning through to post-installation. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership skills, technical understanding, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective management during planning, delivery, installation, and post-installation phases.

Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Execution: Oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to plans and quality standards.
Monitoring and Controlling: Track project progress, manage risks, and implement necessary adjustments.
Closing: Ensure successful project completion, conduct post-project evaluations, and document lessons learned.
Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Profitability and Efficiency: Maximise profitability and efficiency across all projects.
Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for installers, customers, suppliers, and colleagues regarding all aspects of the projects.
Surveys: Conduct surveys prior to manufacture/installation to ensure project requirements are met.
Site Attendance: Regularly attend project sites to monitor progress and address any issues.

Skills and Experience
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
