We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative/Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves both maintaining a clean and efficient yard environment and ensuring timely, professional delivery/collection of materials. Rate of pay will be £16 p/h.
Key Responsibilities
Yard Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised yard environment
- Store materials securely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of yard stock and materials
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Delivery Driving
- Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Deliver and collect goods while providing excellent customer service
- Complete necessary delivery documentation accurately
- Conduct pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections
- Ensure the safe and secure transport of goods
