Summary

Temporary Production Technician
Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00; Fri 08:00-13:00)
Contract Type: Temporary (to provide short-term cover)

We are currently seeking a Temporary Production Technician to join a manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment, ideal for someone who is methodical, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately weigh and mix chemical compounds in line with detailed job instructions

  • Assemble precision components by following technical manuals and instructions

  • Carry out quality checks and product testing to ensure standards are met

  • Safely handle and store chemicals in accordance with internal procedures and HSE regulations

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in the work area

  • Record production data and maintain safety documentation accurately

  • Proactively raise any quality or assembly issues with supervisors

  • Support general site maintenance and ad hoc tasks as required

About You:

  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and following detailed instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • A proactive approach to health and safety

  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is desirable but not essential

This is a temporary position to provide cover, with a fixed work schedule and a focus on maintaining high safety and quality standards.
