Summary


The Older People Care Unit have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Secretary to join our team.

The role is for a 6 month fixed term position.

The successful candidate will be a experienced professional secretary who has a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise and work on their own initiative

To undertake office duties including diary management and message management, facilitating meetings/investigations/disciplinaries.

To role requires accurate minute taking and timely completion and submission of minutes.

Managing diaries updating and maintaining diary schedules, ensuring that conflicting and amended appointments are actioned appropriately.

Working for the MHSOP Senior Management Team at Highbury Hospital with the expectation to provide cross cover when required.

Diary management, compiling agenda, minute taking and the production of accurate minutes

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.

Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
