Summary
The post offers a wide exposure to general Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as the opportunity to develop skills in subspecialty areas includingurogynaecology, assisted reproduction, minimal access surgery, maternal medicine and high risk obstetrics. All general clinics and theatresessions are supervised directly by consultants. The successful candidate will take part in a full shift rota, with 7 other trainees on the tier two rota. When on call you will be supported by a tier one doctor on site and a consultant from home. Nights are done in 3 night or 4 night batches with no daytime duties.
