Your new company
Our client, which is one of the largest universal International Banks, is looking to recruit a Bilingual (French & English) Trade Finance Analyst focused on Guarantees in their London Office. This middle office position plays a crucial role in supporting trade finance operations by acting as a bridge between the front office and the back office.

Your new role
Support the Trade Finance Middle Office in monitoring credit exposures, maintaining operational controls, and ensuring smooth processing of trade finance transactions. This role offers hands-on experience with facility documentation, transaction systems (e.g., TRAC), and client interaction.

  • Assist in reviewing term sheets, credit applications, and facility documents for operational feasibility.
  • Support the validation of client drawdown and guarantee requests in line with facility terms and international rules (e.g., ISP98, URDG 758).
  • Provide administrative support for non-commodity and, when needed, commodity-related trade finance products.
  • Help monitor exposure levels and ensure accurate facility availability using systems like TRAC and Jasper.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to support transaction processing and issue resolution.
  • Track and reconcile balances between exposure tools and the bank's accounting system (OVS).
  • Prioritise and manage incoming communications with a client-centric approach.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Prior experience in Trade Finance is preferred but applicants with Middle & Back Office experience are welcomed.
  • Interest in trade finance, credit risk, and operational controls.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with financial systems or willingness to learn (e.g., TRAC, Jasper).
