Summary

Electrical - Multi skilled shift engineer

I'm helping a major FM service provider find an electrical shift engineer to join a new commercial office space in the city.

£50,000 + overtime

Continental days and nights (7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am)

Static site in Central London

Further training and progression

Tasks:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and HVAC equipment.

  • Experience with UPS
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to high standards and in compliance with regulations.

  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults on a variety of systems, including control panels, motors, pumps, and BMS.

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment is back in service as quickly as possible.

  • Electrical Installations and Upgrades

  • Carry out electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades as required, adhering to relevant regulations and standards (BS7671).

Qualifications:

  • NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 electrical installations
  • 18th Edition
