Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Southend-on-Sea

Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity Available

Are you a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for your next exciting role? Join a warm and welcoming nursery in Southend-on-Sea, where your experience and dedication to early years development will be truly valued!

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to work Monday to Friday in a well-established setting. While this is primarily a full-time position, we are happy to discuss part-time hours for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)


  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting


  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework


  • A genuine passion for working with young children


  • A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)


    Your Responsibilities:

    • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children


    • Support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS


    • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues


    • Carry out observations, assessments, and contribute to planning


    • Work as part of a supportive and dedicated team


    • Follow nursery policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
