Part-Time Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 72 year old lady living in the Pontypridd area, I live on my own with my 2 cats, I have a son who lives in America, but my niece who I am close to lives in Cardiff.
I enjoy watching the soaps on the television and a cuppa tea, I have poor memory issues so will need assistant to help organise my house especially to manage the hygiene of my fridge with best before dates on food.
I will need support when assessing the community and attending appointments occasionally.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To have support when out in the community and to help me organise my house.
RATE(S) OF PAY
£13.35 Plus mileage
HOURS OF WORK
3 hours a week which can be flexibly worked.
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
Help to organise things in my home.
Manage good food hygiene in my fridge.
Support with food shopping in the local community
Someone who is chatty and bubbly.
A person who can help to encourage my organisation skills.
Going to a coffee shop for a cup of tea.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Someone who is chatty and friendly.
A person who is patient and understanding.
Someone who drives could be an advantages but not necessary.
Someone who can encourage me to get involved in the community.
ABOUT THE JOB
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a four-weekly / monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
