Summary

Are you a night owl who's on the look out for a rewarding new part-time job? We've got just the opportunity for you!

Our amazing #TeamSchoolPark in Strichen are on the look out for new *female colleagues to join their waking night team on a part-time (10 or 20 hours per week) permanent basis.

The team and the individuals you'll support

You'll become part of a fun, friendly team who supports five individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.

As part of our Waking Night team, your main aim will be to ensure that the individuals we support have access to support and assistance during the night, if needed. In addition to providing support, your responsibilities will include maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the home, ironing, health & safety checks, managing finances and administrative support.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too!

If you don't live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns.

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

A caring and compassionate attitude
The ability to work well in a team
Great communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Basic computer skills

Shift Patterns

Our Waking Night shifts are 2100-0700 hours (7 days a week) and are worked on a 6 weeks rolling rota basis. We will also need you to be able to commit to a minimum of 3 day shifts every 6 weeks, as this allows you to build a working relationship with all of the people that we support, attend team meetings and mandatory training.

Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for every waking night worked.
