Summary
Paediatric Complex Care Assistant - Ilford
Seeking dedicated Paediatric Complex Care Assistants for a rewarding 1:1 role supporting a 9-year-old boy in Ilford, East London.
Our client is quadriplegic, PEG fed, requires intermittent catheterization, and has complex medical needs (MAS, JIA, PRES, brittle bones). He is a bright, engaging boy who lives at home with his loving family.
The Role Involves:

Personal Care: PEG feeding, intermittent catheterization, hoisting.

Overnight Care: Vital sign monitoring, epilepsy management.

Morning Routine: School preparation.

Community Outings: Driving the family car on Saturday shifts.

Adhering to care plans, maintaining boundaries, fostering a positive environment.
We Need You To Be:

Patient, Kind, and Empathetic.

Proficient in PEG feeding, Observations, and Epilepsy management.

Experienced with children, or an experienced adult carer open to paediatric care.

Resilient, Professional, Non-Smoker.

Confident Driver (essential for Saturdays).

Adaptable, respectful, and possess English proficiency with Right to Work in the UK.

Male and Female Carers encouraged.
Rates:

£17.07/hour (Night shifts: 23:00 - 08:30, Sun-Mon, public holidays)

£16.37/hour (Day shifts: Sun-Mon, public holidays)

1 x 4.5-hour Saturday day shift.
