Are you a people-focused professional who thrives on building trust and strong relationships in the community? Our family-run business, a respected contractor in the social housing sector, is looking for a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to work within the Lewisham/Lambert/Watford area.

The Role:

As a Resident liaison officer, you’ll be the key link between our site teams and the residents we serve. Your role will be to ensure that all residents are fully informed and supported throughout planned works minimising disruption and maintaining a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the works, programme and scope of works.
• Provide site reports and updates for client and site management.
• Prepare and distribute all communications to residents.
• Establish a resident’s charter, maintain files, keep a log of complaints and any query’s that would come in.
• Compile, devise and implement procedures and administration to compliment your role.
• Be available for residents’ meetings, and meetings with the client as and when.
• Site meetings
• Housing officers, estate developments or joint management board meetings.

About You:

• Previous experience as a resident liaison officer or in a customer-facing role (social housing preferred)
• Experience working with contractors and understanding of site processes
• A strong team player who communicates effectively with colleagues and clients
• Empathetic, patient, and an excellent communicator
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Eager to learn, with a positive attitude toward personal and professional development
• Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, reporting tools)
• DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
