Minimum Requirement: 2:1 degree or above

We are working with a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Manchester seeking passionate, driven, and academically strong graduates to join their team as Graduate Academic Mentors. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering targeted academic support and small group interventions in your subject area
• Supporting classroom teachers and pupils across KS3 and KS4
• Helping pupils boost confidence, motivation, and academic progress
• Building strong relationships and becoming a positive role model for students
• Contributing to a positive, engaging learning environment

The school offers:

• Opportunity to progress into salaried teacher training (from year 2)
• Excellent experience for teacher training applications or careers in education
• Up to £550 per week (PAYE) – term-time only

Ideal candidate:

• Graduate with a 2:1 or above in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or MFL
• Confident, enthusiastic and motivated to support young people
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
• Previous experience with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is desirable but not essential
