Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly team.
Duties as Kitchen Assistant:
Assist with the preparation of meals and snacks in line with hygiene and safety standards.
Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing up and cleaning surfaces and equipment.
Receive and store deliveries correctly, ensuring food is rotated and stored safely.
Support the chef or catering team as required.
Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
Assist with serving food if needed.
Ideal Kitchen Assistant:
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (desirable but not essential).
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Good time management and organisational skills as a Kitchen Assistant.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
