What’s the job about?

-we are on the lookout for a confident and positive person to join our team as a Customer Service Apprentice
-get hands-on experience helping people every day – whether that’s over the phone, online or face-to-face
-learn all about the council services and how to support people with their questions or problems.
-don’t worry if you haven’t worked in customer service before – we’ll give you full -training and support to build your skills and confidence

What are we looking for?

We want someone who:

-enjoys chatting and helping others Is friendly, polite and easy to talk to
-can stay calm under pressure and solve problems
-Is ready to work in a fast-paced environment
-can work well in a team
-is up for learning new things
-has good computer and keyboard skills
-has Maths and English at GCSE grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent)

If you’ve already completed a qualification or apprenticeship, it needs to be at a lower level or in a totally different subject to this one.
