Summary
What does the job involve?
My son is Autistic and communicates with simple words. We are looking for a male carer who would act as a role model and can support him with personal care and going out in the community . The carer will need to be willing to go into the swimming pool with him, to ride a bike with him and do sport activities .
Support is required with tasks such as:
• Washing, creaming, dressing, preparing breakfast, getting ready
• Domestic tasks ( ironing, cleaning, washing, hoovering…)
• Shopping
• After school activities
• Swimming pool, rides in the park, games, sport , taking my son to activities for SEN children( different organisations like Streatham Youth Centre / Oxygen… )
• Assist with homework
Hours / days:
14 hours per week . Mainly after school and at the weekend
Pay rate: £14.20 per hour.
Skills / experience / qualifications required:
Experience supporting a Disabled or Autistic child is essential .
Any offer of employment will be conditional on the successful candidate having a DBS check , right to work in the UK check and providing a minimum of 2 professional references
