Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to assist in coordinating care services for our clients. This role is crucial in ensuring that our team delivers high-quality support while fostering a positive environment for both staff and clients. The Care Team Leader will be working with the registered manager and deputy manager managing daily operations, providing guidance to team members, and ensuring compliance with care standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing support and guidance to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss client progress, address concerns, and promote best practices in care delivery.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies related to care provision.
Maintain accurate records of client care activities and staff performance.
NVQ level 3 and above.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and professionals.
Empathy and compassion towards clients’ needs, fostering a supportive environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the care sector is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations as well as best practices in care delivery.
