Summary

Ipswich Borough Council runs and maintains four Cemeteries, a Crematorium and busy Masonry department.

We are looking for two individuals to join our Grounds Team to assist in the upkeep of the cemeteries. This includes the cleaning of memorials, installing of headstones, grave maintenance, litter picking and seasonal tasks such as cutting grass or hedges.

You will need to undertake specialist training and successful completed it to obtain a Bramm & Namm fixers licence, unless you already hold one.

So, if you enjoy working outside, have an interest in masonry and the upkeep of the cemeteries and want to join a well-established team we would welcome your application.

You will need to hold a valid driving licence and be able to undertake physical tasks such as bending, lifting and walking and possess a sound knowledge of using smart phones.
