I am a disabled woman and a pensioner with attitude! I have a lively outlook, not matched by my physical abilities and I’m interested in politics and disability activism in particular.

I just need 1 hour each on Saturdays and Sundays, to do domestic jobs (like cleaning) that I can’t manage. No personal care is needed.

I can be flexible about when you can come, though it must be daytime hours. If it goes well I may also be able to offer additional hours if and when my weekday carer is on leave.

Duties include:
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Companionship
- Occasionally looking after the cat

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- A sense of humour!

Non-smoker due to medical reasons
