Are you a creative and committed Design & Technology teacher ready to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and problem-solvers? We are looking for an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Chelmsford from September 2025.
About the School:
Located in the heart of Chelmsford, our school is dedicated to providing an innovative and inclusive learning environment. We value hands-on learning, creative thinking, and encouraging students to develop practical skills alongside academic excellence.
The Role:
· Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5, if applicable)
· Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons across areas such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Engineering
· Contribute to the development of a dynamic DT curriculum and promote STEM initiatives
· Inspire students to explore and enjoy design-based learning in a well-equipped workshop environment
What We're Looking For:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Strong subject knowledge across a range of DT disciplines
· A passion for creative teaching and student progress
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
