About The Role:

Truro and Penwith Academy Trustis one of Cornwall’s largest employers. We’re a growing Trust currently with 34 schools (30 Primary and 5 Secondary), over 8,000 pupils and 1,500 staff. We have a clear vision to improve life chances of all children and young people in our schools.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Business Partner, with a passion for supporting operational teams in their delivery of both financial and operational strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Operations and the Head of Finance, driving economic benefit through accurate financial analysis, challenge and modelling.

About You:

Your finance experience might come from accountancy practice, a large corporate, a SME, or a public sector employer. We’re particularly interested to hear from candidates who have estates, IT, capital management and corporate function business partner irrespective of the organisation it was gained in.

You will be a highly motivated individual and a confident communicator, as well as a team player who can work flexibly and use your own initiative. You will have a proven ability to build strong relationships and will be dynamic in supporting others to deliver financial outturns. We anticipate the successful candidate will be Part or fully qualified CCAB/CIMA, or AAT level 4 with strong relevant experience.
