Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

10 Hours per week, 11.30am - 1.30pm, Monday to Friday - Term time only - Start date: September 2025

Katesgrove Primary School is a large and friendly primary school in Reading. We are looking for two lunchtime controllers who are cheerful, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to join our successful and friendly school team.

The successful candidate will:

·Take pride in the school environment

· Be hardworking, self-motivated and work well as part of a team

· Have good communication skills with a good level of spoken English

· Be prepared to undertake statutory Safeguarding & Health & Safety training in line with the requirements of the role

Main responsibilities include:

· Cleaning/ clearing tables, equipment and flooring as required

· Setting up / clearing away of lunch tables

· Provide consistent care, attention and behaviour management

· Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and security
