Location: New Hall School, The Avenue, Boreham, Chelmsford CM3 3HS
Rate of pay: £26,000pa
Hours: 40 hours per week (with occasional weekends and overtime paid or in lieu)

Weeks: 52 weeks

With food at the heart of every pupil's development, we are looking to recruit an organised and experienced, Senior Breakfast/Salad Chef who has experience in both of these areas.



Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking full English breakfast for 220 students buffet style
  • Preparing a salad bar with fresh salad item plus compound salads and protein item for 500 students.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
  • Working efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment
  • Supporting the kitchen with clean down


Qualifications

  • It needs to be someone who is well organised and can think for themselves, that has experience in both of these areas .
  • Cleanliness and hygiene standards of a high level
  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have a progressive career to date
  • Be up to date with current food trends
  • Have a real passion for food and customer service
