Summary

We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join a Learning Disabilities Team.

This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to support adults over the age of 18 with varying degrees of learning / physical disabilities to promote work towards appropriate independence. The day to day responsibilities include collaborating with other Social Workers, Doctors, Nurses and Psychologists to create care plans, carrying our Mental Capacity assessments and co-ordinate care for individuals. This team offers support to all of their Social Workers to provide support when dealing with complex cases. This team offers all their Social Workers supervision and guidance when dealing with complex cases.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience of working within a Learning Disabilities team is essential for this position. A valid driving licence is required for this role.
