Location: Ascot
Pay: £16.00 per hour (based on a 45-hour week)
Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
Overtime: £24.00 per hour after 9 hours per day
About the Role:
Join a leading waste management company as an HGV Class 2 Driver, responsible for delivering plant and tool machinery across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and committed drivers to become part of a growing team.
Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading vehicles Delivering and collecting plant machinery and tools Completing necessary paperwork Following health & safety procedures Reporting any vehicle defects Assisting at other depots when required Supporting non-driving tasks in the depot and yard Attending relevant training courses Keeping qualifications up to date Communicating effectively with staff and customers Requirements: Valid CPC, Tacho Card, and Full Driving Licence Basic mechanical knowledge Good literacy skills Strong communication and customer service skills Flexibility with overtime and assigned tasks Good knowledge of UK roads and routes A team player with the ability to work independently Commitment to health & safety and customer satisfaction Willingness to learn about new products and services Why Work with The Best Connection?
