For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification :- 2.1 Provide clinical leadership and maintain credibility through practice and professional update.2.2 Practice evidence based nursing care to ensure high quality care 2.3 Act as an expert nurse and resource for patients, families and staff.2.4 Admit and discharge or transfer patients as their needs require.2.5 Undertake advanced clinical assessments of acutely unwell oncology patients to enable prompt assessment, diagnosis and treatment according to agreed policies, protocols and guidelines.2.6 Order and interpret blood tests and initiate appropriate action as required.2.7 Order diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate.
