Kenect Recruitment is looking for an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in the Manchester branch. About the Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Kenect Recruitment, you will take on a 360-degree role providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions primarily within the Transport, Industrial & Commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates
- Business development through sales, cold calling, and networking
- Building strong client relationships and understanding recruitment needs
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets and weekly branch budgets
- Conducting client meetings (virtually and in person, as appropriate)
- Account management and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Advertising vacancies across online job boards and social media platforms
- Completing reference checks and compliance documentation
- Matching suitable candidates to client vacancies
- Rotating on-call duties as part of the team
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Early finish on Fridays (workload dependent)
Person Specification
We're looking for someone who is:
- Target-driven with a proven track record of success in recruitment or sales
- Confident, articulate, and comfortable selling at all levels
- A skilled communicator with excellent customer service abilities
- Proficient in administration with strong organisational skills
- A motivated self-starter seeking career progression
- Experienced in both business development and account management
