Are you a quality-driven engineer with a passion for bringing new products to life? A leading foundry company is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join its flexible team, dedicated to innovation, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

About the Role:
As an NPI Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in introducing new products into production, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer expectations. You'll work cross-functionally across departments and sites, coordinating prototype development, managing quality processes, and driving improvements from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the quality aspects of NPI and prototype manufacturing.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver new products on time and to spec.
Apply quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process audits.
Monitor and improve product quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
Produce regular reports on project status, quality metrics, and improvement plans.
Support tooling design, casting simulation, and inspection methods.
Promote a "right first time" culture and continuous improvement mindset.

What They're Looking For:
Strong communication and project management skills.
Experience with NPI processes and quality systems (e.g., PPAP, APQP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Familiarity with casting processes and simulation software is a plus.
A hands-on, data-driven approach to problem-solving and process optimisation.
