Summary

Production Team Leader

Are you an experienced leader with a background in manufacturing and production assembly lines? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Team Leader to join a well established company based in Gillingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will be appreciated and expanded.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of production line operatives to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Oversee the assembly line operations, ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Monitor and improve production processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and team goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any production-related issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in production assembly line operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Understanding of production planning and quality control processes.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

This will be a Monday to Friday role working a shift rotation of early and afternoons.
