About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef Lecturer to join our dynamic hospitality and catering team. The ideal candidate will bring real-world culinary expertise into the classroom, inspiring the next generation of chefs with engaging and practical teaching. This role would be a temporary contract with a high possibility of a permanent position if suitable. A fantastic opportunity if you meet the following criteria and have experience with the key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of culinary courses. • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials. • Support students in developing their practical and theoretical knowledge. • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. • Contribute to curriculum development and course planning. Essential Requirements: • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery or equivalent. • Proven teaching or training experience, ideally within a further education or vocational training setting. • A passion for culinary arts and education. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training) is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one.
