Summary
Support Worker
Required to work with an active outdoorsy 29-year-old man registered blind with learning difficulties in his own home in the Mere, Warminster area and in the local community.
Role will require someone with plenty of get up and go who likes to be out and about and will involve domestic care, social & leisure outings, gym attendance, beach visits, walks, lunches out and enabling him to be an independent individual.
You will need to work closely with the Neuropsychologist and Occupational Therapist in supporting the individual in learning to use assistive technology for the visually impaired.
The client lives with a small dog and 2 budgies.
Previous experience and full driving licence are essential.
An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and
Competent IT skills are desirable.
£14.42 per hour
Shift pattern
6 hours per week.
12 midday - 6.00pm Thursday
Availability for additional evening work desirable.
