Summary
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to children in the day ward. Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare children for surgery. Monitor and support children during their recovery post-surgery. Administer medications and manage pain relief. Educate and support families with post-operative care instructions. Collaborate with doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Requirements: Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) with a valid NMC pin. Experience in paediatric nursing, preferably in a day ward or surgical setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
