Summary
As Finance Director, you will lead the development and implementation of Horder Healthcare's 5-year financial strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and long-term sustainability. You will oversee capital investment planning, financial forecasting, and resource allocation while providing strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board. You will also be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the finance function, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance. A key focus will be stabilising the department improving financial controls, rebuilding internal credibility, and embedding a culture of accountability and transparency. Managing cash flow, reserves, and banking relationships will also be central to your role. In addition, you will support the organisations commercial growth by evaluating business cases, negotiating contracts, and enabling private service expansion. You'll lead performance management initiatives, harness data for informed decision-making, and ensure robust governance through active engagement with the Board and key committees.
