Maple Leaf House is a purpose-built nursing care home in Coventry offering specialist care for adults with severe and enduring mental illness, including dementia. With 30 beds in a peaceful and accessible city location, the home supports individuals with complex mental and physical health needs, young-onset and advanced dementia, mild to moderate learning difficulties, and behaviours that challenge.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Compliance with COSHH Regulations
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and staff areas are cleaned to a high standard on a regular schedule.
Infection Control: Follow strict infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe environment, especially when cleaning high-touch areas
Stock Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report when items need restocking.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety policies, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the appropriate staff or maintenance team.
Resident Interaction: Be respectful and considerate when entering resident rooms, always maintaining dignity and privacy.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with care staff and other departments to ensure a smooth, supportive environment for residents.
Support Special Cleaning Needs: Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required, including after illness or in preparation for new residents.
