The Role;
Newham College is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Curriculum Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced educational environment, supporting the curriculum delivery and student journey through high-quality administrative support.
Key responsibilities;
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Curriculum Managers, programme leaders, and teaching staff.
Co-ordinate and manage student records, including enrolment, timetabling, attendance, and withdrawals.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data on college systems (EBS, eTrackr).
Liaise with central college departments such as Admissions, Exams, Timetabling, and MIS to ensure deadlines are met and compliance is maintained.
Arranging meetings, prepare and circulate documents and take minutes as required.
Prepare reports, data summaries, and documentation to support curriculum planning and audits.
Respond to staff, student, and parent enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Our Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience.
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an education setting.
Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
