Summary

Customer Service Advisor – Income Team
Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
Contract: 6-month temporary assignment (potential to become permanent)
Pay Rate: £14.21 per hour
Start Date: 28/07/2025
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week. Shifts between 8am–8pm on a 4-week rolling rota (after training).
Training: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm for 4 weeks

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service across multiple channels including phone, web-chat, email, and written correspondence. You’ll take ownership of each interaction, ensuring queries are resolved efficiently and customers are kept informed every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle inbound and outbound customer contacts across multiple channels including phone, web-chat, email, and written correspondence
• Provide a high-quality, friendly, and efficient service to all customers
• Take ownership of customer queries from initial contact through to resolution
• Ensure all promised actions are completed and customers are kept informed throughout
• Accurately update customer records and systems during and after interactions
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to resolve complex issues
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even in challenging situations
• Meet individual and team performance targets, including quality and productivity metrics
• Participate in training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives
