Summary
Are you a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work opportunities? We are currently seeking dedicated and professional nursery nurses in the Langport area!
This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills and expertise while enjoying the flexibility of agency work.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning and development.
Foster a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children’s development and well-being.
Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork.
Skills
A Level 2 or above in childcare.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
A genuine passion for nurturing children’s development through play-based learning.
