Your New Job
As a part-time Maths & English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to small groups of students across Key Stages 2-4. You will be supported by experienced teaching assistants and will work closely with the SENCO and wider support team to ensure that each pupil's individual needs are met. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Maths and English lessons tailored to individual learning profiles.
- Using a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
- Supporting pupils in developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
- Contributing to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCP reviews.
- Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths and/or English, ideally in an SEN or alternative provision setting.
- A strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management.
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
