Summary
Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Psychiatry, BarkingCommunity Hospital Services, Upney Lane.This unique post offers an exciting opportunity to develop experience and skills.
The successful applicant will play an active role in the teaching and training of Resident Doctors, undergraduate students and senior medical staff within: NELFT; Barts & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD); and the London Deanery.
The hospital provides mental health services to patients within a community setting. TheMHWTprovides care for the patients ranging from those that have required previous inpatient admission to those with chronic mental health illnesses andEIPteam provides care for patients with first episode
The duties of the post, performance criteria and the learning opportunities available are set out following the structure of the Psychiatry Specialty Curriculum (as approved by PMETB, 2006), which in turn, is based on the headings of the GMC’s Good Medical Practice.
