Summary

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 days a week.

As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as an Internal Communications Specialist

You will showcase your confident communication skills and creative storytelling to deliver impactful internal projects. You will join a collaborative, fast-paced team where you can grow your career while helping connect, inform, and engage colleagues across the business.

You’ll receive a salary of up to £45,000p/a, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

Craft clear, engaging content that brings business strategy to life for all employees

Manage and maintain internal communication channels, including the intranet, newsletters, and town halls, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and inclusive

Plan and support internal campaigns and events, both digital and in-person, to align employees with business goals and culture

Champion inclusive communications for remote and hybrid teams, ensuring all employees feel informed, valued, and connected to the organisation

What you’ll bring to the role

You will have proven internal communications experience with the ability to confidently engage employees through clear, compelling content.

You’ll also have:

Strong writing and storytelling skills, turning complex strategy into accessible, engaging messages

Hands-on channel management of intranets, newsletters, and digital tools to keep communications fresh and inclusive

Experience supporting senior leaders, aligning communications with business goals and culture

Ability to engage remote and hybrid teams, ensuring everyone feels informed and connected
