Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker to work in a residential care setting.

We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.

Rate of Pay: £12.26 - £15.82 per hour

Summary:

The Care Worker (Hub Enablement Worker) plays a key role in delivering personal care and support alongside a range of day opportunity activities. This includes working in community hubs, specialist settings, and out in the local community. The role supports individuals to lead fulfilling lives while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in line with individual care plans.

Responsibilities:

Deliver personal, physical, and emotional care in a respectful and inclusive manner.
Support people one-on-one or in group settings within day centres or community locations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, departmental policies, and safeguarding requirements.
Appropriately use equipment after receiving relevant training.
Engage with service users, families, carers, and professionals to build supportive relationships.
Qualifications:

Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or willingness to work toward it.
Care Certificate or equivalent professional care qualification.
Essentials:

Previous experience working directly with adults, either individually or in groups.
Experience supporting people with personal care needs and complex behaviours.
Familiarity with documentation and daily record-keeping in a care setting.
Basic ICT skills and ability to maintain digital records.
Knowledge of person-centred care and supporting people to live meaningful lives.
