Summary
Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC code of Professional conduct and work within limits of competence. To maintain high standards of care by personal example and conduct and be a credible practitioner in the area. To develop a positive team culture and manage recruitment and retention of the workforce. To demonstrate and promote professional, clinical and managerial leadership acting as a resource and providing guidance to own staff. To work with others in developing and implementing strategies to obtain the views of patients and carers and ensure their views are incorporated into proposed service developments. To ensure all staff have a working knowledge of equipment used in the clinical area recording agreed competencies. To ensure all equipment is properly maintained, reporting repair and service needs.
