Job Summary:

Due to significant growth, Risdons Solicitors are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to support our IT department in ensuring the smooth operation of daily technology-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, troubleshooting techniques and excellent communications skills to assist users with hardware, software and network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to employees (hardware, software, network issues).​
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.​
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup and access control.​
Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.​
Maintain inventory of IT assets, hardware, and software licenses.​
Support in data backups, antivirus management, and regular system updates​
Assist with maintaining documentation for IT procedures and user guides.​
Collaborate with IT team on larger projects and rollouts.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).​
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365​
Familiarity with hardware components and common troubleshooting practices.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
​Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks​
A team player with a positive and service orientated attitude​
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Working Conditions:

Office environment with travel to other locations for support therefore a driving licence is essential.​
May require occasional evening or weekend work for system maintenance.
