Who we’re looking for

Star Academies is seeking a Supplier Setup and Compliance Officer to join our central finance team. This is a newly created role that will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of our supplier management processes across all Star schools.You will lead on the centralised setup and amendment of supplier records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and school-based teams, you will maintain a high-quality supplier database, conduct due diligence checks, and support the development of standard operating procedures. You will also play a key role in rationalising our supplier base and preparing for internal and external audits.

You will have:

• Experience in a finance or procurement function, ideally within the education or public sector.
• A strong understanding of financial controls and supplier management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• A commitment to Star’s values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, and Respect.
