Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail location. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and able to lead a team to deliver excellent customer service, maintain inventory, and meet performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily shop operations ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Manage, train, and motivate shop staff to achieve high performance and excellent customer service
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee stock control
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally and effectively
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and legal regulations
Monitor sales targets, KPIs, and productivity metrics, reporting progress to management
Conduct regular team meetings and individual performance reviews
Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and financial reporting
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in a retail or workshop environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays if required
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business or retail management a plus
