Applications are invited for a Locum Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (7PAs) at Addenbrooke’s hospital. This role will include general Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinics and Minor Oral Surgery.

This post is available asap for a period of 12 months.

The post holder will complement the existing Oral and Maxillofacial team of 6 Oral and maxillofacial surgeons, a cleft surgeon and 3 Specialty Doctors.

You will have 4 years full-time post graduate experience (or equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty, or shall have equivalent experience and competencies.

Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
